Virtual/Online Session Access
Unable to Attend? Get Access to the Meeting Sessions
If you are unable to attend ASCO’s 2011 Annual Meeting, there are still a number of avenues to learn more about the sessions held at the event.
First, ASCO's patient information website -- Cancer.Net (www.cancer.net) -- will offer audio podcasts, videos, and research summaries of news highlights from the event, free of charge. Cancer.Net will post scientific news as soon as it becomes publicly available, on both its homepage and its ASCO Annual Meetings section. To receive ASCO Annual Meeting breaking news via email, sign up now to receive the newsletter Inside Cancer.Net.
Also, you may want to consider a Virtual Meeting or Mobile Meeting subscription. These video and audio products are for people who are not able to attend the meeting but would like access to all of the meeting presentations (audio, video, and slides). A discounted rate is available for patients and caregivers, so please contact patientadvocates@asco.org if you are interested in purchasing either product.
And, please note that you don’t need to be in Chicago to have access to the meeting’s breaking research information. Thousands of scientific abstracts are released each year at the ASCO Annual Meeting, and you can search the entire collection of meeting abstracts for free by visiting ASCO’s website.
